MathRun

Two serious games have been developed to explore the effectiveness of using games technology to support the development of mathematic skills through the use of an adventure story to introduce the player to the level of difficulty of maths questions and enable students to follow the game story regardless of their skill level.

MathRun is a platform game aimed at young children to practice simple math questions. The second game is a magic game with story elements for maths questions. Problems are designed to suite with player skill and ‘level up’ as they do, keeping everyone learning and more importantly keeping players have fun. Both games are 3D for immersive and engaging learning experience.
